What is PCO?
PCO stands for Private Carriage Office. It's a license required to operate private hire vehicles (PHVs) in London. A PCO license allows you to accept bookings for private hire services and manage a fleet of licensed drivers and vehicles. All private hire operators must be licensed by Transport for London (TfL).

PHV stands for Private Hire Vehicle. These are vehicles licensed to carry passengers for hire or reward, but cannot be hailed on the street or wait at taxi ranks. What do we need from you?
In order to enhance customer service quality, we have reduced our requirements to give our customer an excellent experience. We only need the following documents from you:
Contract and terms
Our simple policies and procedures make renting with us stress-free.
Deposit
A refundable £500 deposit is required. Can’t pay all at once? Pay £300 upfront and the rest in £50 weekly instalments. Deposit is returned 14 days after you return the car.
Contract Duration
Our minimum contract is 4 weeks. After that, keep the car as long as you need. You can switch between hybrid and electric or change to a different car after the 4 weeks.
Return Notice
Planning to return your car? Just give us a 2-week advance notice. This helps us prepare and ensure a smooth return process without any delays or extra charges.
Included Services
Every rental includes free vehicle servicing, tyre replacement, and 24/7 breakdown recovery. You drive—we take care of the rest, with no extra costs.
Mileage Allowance
Mileage depends on your package. Silver allows 900 miles/week, Diamond 1,000. If you go over, extra miles are charged monthly, not weekly, to make it easier to manage.
Insurance
All cars come with full comprehensive insurance. Already have your own cover? You can rent a car without our insurance if that suits you better—totally your choice.
Dashcams
All cars have dashcams for safety. They only record the road ahead—no interior video or audio is captured, so your privacy inside the car is fully respected.
Accidents
Had an accident? Don’t worry—we’ll provide a replacement car the same day. We handle the claim, deal with solicitors and insurers, and offer legal advice to support you.
