How to setup Congestion Charge Auto Pay account?

The London Congestion Charge is a daily fee imposed since February 17, 2003, that motorists have to pay to enter into the Congestion Charge zone in London during the weekdays and weekends. Enforced by Transport for London (TfL), it is a scheme designed to create clean air zones in the hotspots of London. The failure to pay this fee would result in you getting fined £160. However, if you pay within 14 days, it will get reduced to £80.

Average petrol prices have reached a new record high of £1.74 a liter and diesel reached £1.81 for the first time in the UK, according to data from Experian Catalist. This time last year, petrol was £1.29 a liter, with diesel at £1.30 a liter.

Parking fines and penalty charge notice (PCN) awareness!

The G&M Direct Hire received a high number of Penalty Charge Notices from Hammersmith and Fulham borough for committing the following contravention – 52M – failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of vehicle.

Please be aware of the signs and follow the rules or you could get a penalty charge of £130 that must be paid before the end of the period of 28 days beginning with the date of the notice. It is reduced to £65 if paid before the end of 14 days. Read more.

Gatwick Airport Drop Off Charges

A high number of PCN was received from Gatwick Airport this week. Most of PCO drivers are failing to set up an autopay account or the transaction fails as a result of the new anti-fraud prevention rule introduced by Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) that requires the debit/credit card holders to verify certain payments.

Heathrow Terminal £5 Drop Off Charge

Heathrow Terminal has introduced £5 drop-off charge in November 2021 and all driver (expect blue badge holders) are required to pay the charge. Failing to pay the charge, drivers will receive up to £80 penalty charge.
