A high number of PCN was received from Gatwick Airport this week. Most of PCO drivers are failing to set up an autopay account or the transaction failed as a result of the new anti-fraud prevention rule introduced by Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) that requires the debit/credit card holders to verify certain payments.
A minimum of £5 is applied to use the designated drop off zone in both North and South Terminals. Payments must be made by midnight the day after the drop off in order to avoid getting a Parking charge notice of £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
Charges are as follows:
- £5 for 10 minutes
- £1 for each additional minute up to 20 minutes.
- Maximum charge of £25 and the maximum length of stay 30 mins.
If you have not yet setup an autopay account do the following in order to setup one;
2: Click on setup an autopay account
3: Register and put your card details.
If you have setup and account and still got a PCN please go to your account, remove the card details and re-enter it.
